Help + FAQ
ARTWORK:
What is the first step in setting up my artwork for the storefront?
Make sure your artwork is built in the appropriate size for the template you are using on the storefront. Add .125 on all sides if needed for bleeds. BC is 3.5" x 2". Lhd is 8.5" x 11", etc.
What file types are acceptable to upload?
We accept most modern graphics formats. You may upload a number of different file types: TIF (300 dpi or Higher), PDF (Flatten Files and Embedded ALL Fonts), JPG (300 dpi or Higher). However, we work fastest with a print-ready PDF file.
What resolution and color mode can I submit?
Please submit 300 DPI or Higher and CMYK color mode. If your files are submitted using any color standard other than CMYK - we will do our best to convert your files to CMYK - however BCE South accepts no responsibility for color shifting.
What size bleed is acceptable?
Please provide .125" beyond the edge of the page for back trimming. Text or artwork you wish to preserve MUST be at least .125" inside of the final dimension of your design.
What is the best placement of borders from the edge of the page?
It is essential that your design use at least .125" of white space from your border to the cut line in order to maintain a symmetric appearance.
What is the smallest line thickness that can be used?
If you are using a line border, be sure to make that line at least .5 pt in thickness to assure that it prints correctly.
STOREFRONT:

Is there a BCE South Wholesale Catalog available?
Yes, you can download the catalog here WholesalePriceList2018.
Do I upload two-sided artwork as separate pieces of art?
No, when uploading artwork that is for a two-sided order upload them as a single pdf. Page one for the front, page two for the back. If it is a multiple order, page 3 would be the front of the second card, page four would be the back of the second card and so forth.
What if I have several orders to upload to the portal, can I upload them at the same time?
Yes, you can add multiple orders to the cart. Once a order is added to the cart you can go back and add more items / continue shopping until you are ready to place your order.
If I've added my order to the cart and realized I made a mistake what should I do?
Select the shopping cart button and proceed to remove the item that needs to be corrected. Then either add more items / continue shopping or select catalog button and start again.
